Privacy

Plain language. No ad trackers — that’s a feature, not a footnote.

Last updated 7 June 2026.

This page explains what happens to your data when you use this site. It is written to the European GDPR and the Swiss revised Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP).

01 — Who is responsible

The controller is The Blank Collar GmbH, Im Boden 4, 5616 Meisterschwanden, Switzerland. For anything on this page, reach us through the contact form or at hey@theblankcollar.com.

02 — What we collect

Only what you send us through a form. When you submit a form here, it posts to our own server and we email it to ourselves — we receive your name, your email address, and whatever you wrote. We do not run hidden form-capture in the background, and we do not sell your data to anyone.

03 — Cookies and analytics

We set no cookie-based advertising trackers. If we use analytics, we use a privacy-friendly, aggregate kind: it sets no advertising cookies, does not build a profile of you, and does not identify you as an individual. We would rather measure how a page is doing than who you are.

04 — Who processes it

Two providers act on our behalf as processors:

  • Resend delivers the email a form generates and may store it briefly in the course of sending. Your email address is set as the reply-to so a reply reaches you.
  • Vercel hosts and serves the site, and keeps the standard server logs that keep a site running and secure.

Both may process data on EU and global infrastructure. We do not send your data anywhere else.

05 — Lawful basis

When you write to us through a form, we rely on your consent in choosing to write, and on our legitimate interest in answering you and running the school. We do not process your data for anything beyond replying to you and keeping the records we are required to keep.

06 — How long we keep it

We keep enquiry messages only as long as we need them to respond to you and to meet our own records duties. When an enquiry is closed and no longer needed, it is deleted in the normal course of clearing old mail.

07 — Your rights

You have the right to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to object to our using it. To exercise any of these, write to us through the contact form or at hey@theblankcollar.comand tell us what you would like. We will act on it and confirm when it is done. If you believe we have handled your data wrongly, you may also raise it with your data protection authority — the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, or your supervisory authority in the EU.

If anything here is unclear, write to us. Privacy you cannot understand is not privacy — it is paperwork.
